The Neighbourhood

Blue Istria Home

Pine & Lime Apartments are located 5 minutes walk from the famous Lungomare beaches and seafront promenade. As this is a residential area of the city of Pula, in the close surroundings from the apartments you will also find a grocery shop, various bakeries, green and fresh fish market. The major draw to Stoja is for the picturesque peninsula that stems from the neighbourhood, with some lovely areas to relax for the day. Whilst there aren’t any beaches as such, there are plenty of rocky edges that are ideal for sun bathers and those wanting to take a dip in the tantalising Adriatic Sea.

Only 100 meters from your apartment, the bus station is located with frequent bus lines which will take you directly to the city center, bus station or in different neighbourhood. The price per ride is 1,5 €.

Also, it’s worth to mention that there is a green market located only 5 minutes by foot from the apartment. You can get daily fresh products from farmers directly. Prices are very fair and it has a really genuine touch of the locals’ tradition. There you can get fresh meat, fish, milk, cheese, seasonal vegetables and fruits as well as dried figs – local specialty.

Green Istria Home

Holiday Home Trohi – our green Istria holiday gem – is located just beneath “Učka” Nature Park. Three traditional stone and chic renovated houses surrounded by nature, peace, and quiet. It is a place to doze off, experience nature and an ideally located base wherefrom explore the charms of the Istria region. Our hope is that you will find retreat and peace of mind in this piece of contemporary Istrian tradition.

The view on Adriatic sea from Učka mountain

The Trohi estate is composed of three standalone and fully equipped stone houses surrounded by a spacious garden and immersed within the natural park Ucka. The name Trohi comes from Trohilici, the name of the Istrian family that used to live on the estate more than a century ago. A century later, our family fell in love with this Istrian stone gem and, proud of its Istrian heritage, turned into a contemporary home. The houses have been refurbished by local stonemasons following the traditional art and style of Istrian stone building with locally sourced materials, while for the décor our family gave it a personal touch.

The three houses have each a private living room with TV, kitchen with all the appliances, fully equipped bathroom and bedroom with a double bed. The spaces are air-conditioned and have all the perks you need for a relaxing holiday. Our property is perfect for groups or larger families as the layout of the estate ensures each of the houses enjoys its privacy while at the same time the outside space offers spacious areas to share time together. From the garden you will be able to enjoy the stunning view of the Ucka mountain chain or have a swim in the garden pool surrounded by greenery. The outdoor area compromises also of a spacious covered terrace with a large dining table and kitchen with barbecue, as well as some intimate sitting areas.

The location of the estate is perfect for both mountain and sea lovers with the mountain range and several beaches at 15 minutes drive. From here you can easily explore different parts of the Istrian region like the popular towns of Labin, Rabac or Opatija, or the many wonderful Istrian restaurants and wineries.
